Eileen Bos is a multimedia sculpture artist in Asheville NC. Originally from NY, she began drawing & painting when she was 3 years old, & started sculpting at the age of 4. She is self taught through decades of trial & error, using a plethora of different mediums.

Her love of variety has lead her in many directions, from interior design & window displays, to fashion, and culinary arts, where she specialized in sculptured chocolates & elaborate cake designs in the wedding industry for over 15 years. She competed in the Nickel City Cake Challenge, was sought out for the cover of Buffalo Magazine, and made a giant chocolate buffalo standing in a (cake) paint bucket for the Extreme Home Makeover crew. She loves working with lighting & special effects. One of her most recognized cakes was modeled after a scene from her favorite movie, "Practical Magic". It had over 150 peony petals swirling up & around the cake into the sky "floating" toward a lit moon. The entire cake was animated in rotation encompassed in starlight & firefly projectors.

She began sculpting with book pages about a decade ago, creating light up book castles for wedding cake toppers & centerpieces, for which she won tablescape competitions at 2 consecutive Bride's World conventions. Authors Annie Sullivan (A Touch of Gold) & Kira Jane Buxton (Hollow Kingdom), then asked her to create custom pieces of art for them to take on their book signing tours, featuring scenes from their stories & using their own books' pages... and so began a new & exciting avenue of her work!

Upon moving to Asheville in 2023, she created her largest book sculpture to date- a 7.5 foot dragon with light-up flame simulation eyes, using the Harry Potter series, that adorned the front window of the K-2 Studio- an interior decor gallery in downtown Asheville. That dragon went on to win Best of Show at Kore Art Gallery in Louisville in 2024.

Recently, on a trip to Nashville TN, she presented Ann Patchett with a "Tom Lake" sculpture at Parnassus Books, and was lead by a series of magical events to the Enchanting, Copper Fox Gallery!

Eileen works with clients from all over the world to create one of a kind pieces that bring light & magic. She has a deep love of Quantum Physics & Metaphysics, and she is working on creating classes & retreats that fuse hands-on art creation with metaphysical principles to help empower people in fun, new & exciting ways.

She is also working with her partner, Dr. Joe Richichi, to create a new veterinary hospital & wellness center for pets, including exotics, that integrates both Eastern & Western practices near Asheville NC.
