Karla Deal is a copper patina artist based in Nashville, creating custom copper for various residential and commercial applications. Karla began her copper journey by creating art pieces with a Music City theme - aged copper guitars, bangos, and musical notes. Her art was even recognized by the Governor’s wife, who asked Karla to create custom ornaments for the Christmas tree at the Governor’s mansion for their annual holiday open house!

As her skill and ideas for patina began to grow, Karla saw opportunities for other interior design applications for her copper. She has moved on to develop new pieces in large scale art.  She has been working with local art galleries, interior designers, and furniture makers to include copper patina in many different ways in residential and commercial spaces!
